Cakes and orders that are placed through our website will be paid in full. Cakes and bespoke orders that are not ordered through the website will require a non-refundable booking fee to confirm a cake order and hold the date. The remaining amount is to be paid as agreed at the booking stage. For wedding cakes we require a £50 non-refundable booking fee to confirm a wedding cake order and hold the date, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the wedding date. Payment may be made earlier if you wish. By making a payment and confirming your order you are accepting the terms and conditions as detailed on this page.

Refund and cancellations

Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable as this may cause loss of business from turning away another booking. Orders paid in full and cancelled with more than 4 weeks notice will receive a refund minus the deposit amount paid. Orders paid in full that cancel within 7 days of the order date will not receive a refund as the prep will have already begun. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible and agree on a suitable alternative. If you do not accept our suggested alternative, then we will refund the full price to you.

Cake care

When transporting a cake, keep the vehicle cool with air-conditioning and place the cake on a flat surface, we recommend the boot of a car or a passenger footwell. Buttercream cakes are best stored in the fridge and brought to room temperature before consumption. Fondant cakes are best left out of the fridge and placed on a surface at room temperature.  Goods may react to the temperature. In hot or humid weather, it is possible for our cakes and decorations to melt or become damaged. It is the buyers responsibility to take care of the cake once it has left our premises. We will advise on our website or on collection the best cake care. We recommend consuming our goods within 3 days, please note once cakes have been cut into the shelf life will be reduced.

Allergies and Dietary requirements

Please discuss any allergies or special dietary requirements before you confirm and make a payment. Our products may not be suitable for those with certain allergies as our kitchen does handle wheat and nuts.
